The Responsibilities:
- Candidate will work as a hands-on UI designer and will be responsible for delivering all aspects of design from planning, conceptualization, design and implementation of user interface designs
- Ensure that brilliant ideas are successfully translated into quality web experiences.
- Demonstrate systematic process and well orchestrated play of design elements to evolve a world class design.
- Interacting with clients on daily basis.
- Create rich and cutting edge visual designs for device UI.
- Develop visual design strategies and present the design rationale.
- Collaborate on prototype designs that satisfy both functional and usability requirements.
- Present multiple design ideas, prototypes and usability options.
- Design interactive navigation, controls and icons.
- Create site navigation trees and flow charts that are clear and detailed.
- Create wire frames, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Build static and interactive UI prototypes and mock-ups too.
- Communicating with technical staff and modifying 'design' based on technical requirements and look-and-feel.
- Solve conceptual problems, constantly tackling them with an innovate approach.
- Perform design reviews and usability testing during various phases of the product development to evaluate and iterate the designs.
- Manage multiple projects across clients in terms of design.
- Set design guidelines and templates to support large sized web design solutions.
- Playing a key role in growing and mentoring the design team.
Knowledge / Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic or Industrial Design, Fine Arts, Architecture, or related areas; or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, any scripting / coding languages NOT REQUIRED.
- Must have good aesthetic sense, exceptional creativity, analytical and visual aptitude for design.
- Should be innovative, essentially of a creative bent of mind, pragmatic.
- Experienced, highly motivated individual.
- Considerable level of experience creating interaction designs for web applications.
- Should have thorough understanding of web medium.
- Design thinking with excellent understanding of visual design principles.
- Solid understanding of UCD principles and interaction design skills.
- Strong visual/graphical interface design skills.
- Should have an obsession for accuracy and consistency.
- Must be organized, work effectively under deadlines, and manage multiple, concurrent projects.
- Must possess clear, fluent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Strong communication, ability to effectively engage and convey ideas to cross-functional technical and non-technical teams.
