What you pick up on the way:

  • Excellent learning and exposure and maybe your first shot at working with Ruby on Rails, MySQL, memcached, nginx, mongrel clusters etc.
  • The perfect startup environment to design and create truly scalable, distributed web applications.
  • An eye and feel for good design -- both in terms of engineering and user experience.
  • Understanding of semantic coding and why it's important.
  • Agile methodologies and the tolerance for the overhead of rapidly iterating towards greater usability

Who should apply:
